New Skrillex track that I’m really feeling. Definitely has a more groovy feel compared to his previous work, and without that annoying high voice as well makes the song that much better. Haters can hate all they want, but the kid has talent, and he also pumps out tracks more than most big time producers. And although there is a part in the drop that I think he has used in a different song, its still heavy and is definitely a dance floor banger. Check it.
I already loved the original full flex version by Skrillex. Comic Strips kills this remix with a new yet similar drop that sounds pretty damn good on some good speakers – love the new drum pattern as well. If you haven’t copped Skrillex’s More Monsters and Sprites EP, you definitely should, as well as visit Comic Strip’s soundcloud.
The other day Skrillex dropped his first official music video for the song off of his first EP, Rock N Roll. Now I must say this video is pretty cool. The producers of it took the last 8 months of Skrillex’s touring, and tailored it to the song to create an exciting and interesting music video. In this video you’ll see Rusko, 12th Planet, Steve Aoki, Datsik, and a ton of other big names. I’m pretty happy the song is Rock N Roll, because it’s one of my favorite Skrillex songs and its never been on the DK. Anyways, this video is pretty much a tribute to how far Skrillex has come in such a short amount of time, so I’m expecting some Skrillex hate here. Like Skrillex or hate him, this is a sick video. Download Rock N Roll also below.
Skrillex and Nero on the same track? Don’t even press the play button – save some time and just download it. I loved the original Promises track, and I may love this remix even more. Skrillex definitely brings something to the table for this banger, while the Nero guys do what they do best. I’ve seen Nero live – but not Skrillex. All I know is that I want to hear this song loud as fuck, with flashing lights everywhere and a lot of bass as well.
Skrillex and Diplo (a pretty damn good collaboration if you ask me), have come together and to produce a dope moombahton/dubstep track that I love. Skrillex haters should be somewhat satisfied, because the signature high skrillex voice is at minimum here, and c’mon, who doesn’t like Diplo? But I wouldn’t call this song a straight up banger – it’s a pretty cool and interesting track and it’s been growing on me since I heard it a few hours ago. Both of these producers have very distinct and different styles, and it’s cool to see this sort of collaboration. Check it out below and download.
Seeing as there aren’t many mashups with dubstep tracks in them, I immediately wanted to share this White Panda track with you all. The White Panda take Skrillex’s Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, and puts it with Lil Jon’s Act a Fool. Now that I think about it, it makes the most sense to match dubstep’s loud bass with the borderline-if-not annoying voice of Lil Jon. Hopefully this track will only recieve half the amount of Skrillex hate, since he’s only half of the song. Check it out below and be sure to check out the White Panda’s latest album, Pandamonium, if you like this song.
Getting a high-quality skrillex track is like waking up on Christmas morning. As you all probably know, Skrillex’s sophomore EP, More Monsters and Nice Sprites, dropped yesterday on Beatport. I immediately copped this EP and let me just say it blew me away. I’ve already heard a majority of the songs, but finally getting 320′s, with the songs in the order Sonny Moore intended them to be, made a substantial difference. My favorite track on this album would definitely have to be Ruffneck (Full Flex). It’s intro is beautiful and melodic, and of course, the drop will make you want to invest in a new subwoofer. Skrillex has really carved out his own unique style in the dubstep genre in only a short amount of time. If you enjoy this song please show Sonny Moore some love and buy to EP here.
The other day Skrillex posted a 2 minute preview of his new EP, More Monsters and Sprites, dropping on June 7th on Beatport. Now I’m just gonna say I’m extremely excited for this EP. Sonny Moore has really taken the dubstep scene by storm over the past months, producing bangers left and right. In this EP (the tracklist is listed below), we’ve already featured two tracks on the DK (Equinox & the Dirtyphonics Remix). With Skrillex getting his hard drives and laptop stolen, I’m happy that he’s managed to fight through the loss and bring the world yet another (hopefully) amazing EP. If you have money to spare on the 7th, support good music.

If there’s anyone im excited to see at Lollapalooza this year it’s 12th Planet. I’ve always wanted to see him live, because I heard he throws a hell of a show. Skrillex is also coming, so I’m pumped to see him as well. Anyways, this 12th Planet remix is dope. I’ve heard other remixes of All I Ask of You, but this one is by far the best. What’s awesome is that I heard this track isn’t even completed yet, which means that this remix can get even better. Check out the song below and download of you like it.
Shit. And I thought the Noisia remix was good. Dirtyphonics does a crazy job on this classic Skrillex, creating an incredibly sick track. Since their crazy remix of Warp 1.9 , these guys have been killin it. I’ll even go as far to say that I like this remix more than the original Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites. Be sure to download this banger; a track that I think may be one of the best remixes of the year so far. Enjoy.
