Wanted to post this to see what you guys think about dubstep mashups. Not gonna lie, I don’t think they work very well – dubstep is meant to hear without the vocals, and a rapper’s acapella always seems to not seem quite right. I feel like this mashup, Bullshittin On My Coffee Break, is the first exception. These two female DJ’s picked the right songs to mix together. Let me know if you agree and be sure to download above.
Coffee Break – Zeds Dead
Follow @dubstepklctnHere’s a new freebie from the Canadian duo that is Zeds Dead, definitely a perfect song to wake up to in the morning. Not too intense and yet still has the signature Z.D. bass line and funky beat, along with some nice vocals, that make for any overall great tune. Be sure to grab the download.

Only You (Zeds Dead Remix) – Jason Falkner
Follow @dubstepklctnEver since I heard White Satin, Zeds Dead has been on the top of my list for dubstep producers. They have the ability to suck me into their tracks and provide a lulling feel that is unlike any other producers. This track in particular is a chilled out song that has an extended intro leading into soothing bass lines perfect for any relaxing day. So kick your feet up, possibly grab a beverage of choice, and enjoy the musical creations of Zeds Dead baby.

Zeds Dead
Follow @dubstepklctnTwo great tracks from Zeds Dead. The first is a remix of Eyes On Fire, which has a deep bass drop just over a minute in, and Wake Up is a hip-hop dubstep hybrid that is common to Zeds Dead’s style. I saw them live at Jim Bobs last week in London, and going to see them again in Toronto at Sound Academy.
