Fresh new tunes in a fresh new year. The first one is a teaser of the Statelapse remix of Feel Good by Modestep. Next is a totally new track from Skream and Example, it was aired today for the first time on radio. The other tracks are a little older, but still fairly new. All 3 tracks are heavy as hell, so enjoy!
“We are Crystal Fighters. We make fast dance music with Basque instruments, synthesizers and our voices.” That’s the short version of the Crystal Fighters biography. They are 3 guys and 2 girls from Spain playing “modern folk-music,” however my point is that a bunch of our beloved dubstep artists have made some extremely hard hitting remixes of some of Crystal Fighters tracks! The remixes are sick! Give ‘em a listen and spread the word!
Included in this post we have a brand new track from Skrillex, an old tune he made a few years ago. On his Soundcloud he posted this info along with track: ” This is an old tune I made about a year ago for a fashion show for the clothing line Native Son” I must admit this is not one of my favourite tracks from the Skrillex, but you guys might think otherwise!
Next up is a new release on Borgore’s label: Buygore. It’s a rather unknown artist (I have never heard of him) called Document One. I really like the Heist remix on the EP. support the guy, hit him up on Facebook.
The last track of today’s post is from Statelapse. These two bad-boys have just released a free EP with their track “Waiting” + remixes! Diesel and beatsNpieces have remixed the track and the outcome is pretty mental!
I just heard this tune a few minutes ago and went mad! This track is huge! So If you don’t know about Professor Green you should definitely get familiar with him! He is a former singer/rapper and has already been signed to a label run by Mike Skinner. Now he is producing some major dubstep bangers and recently released an album which this track is off, Alive ’til I’m Dead. Kollect and Enjoy!
This track has been floating around on blogs for quite some time now, so some of you guys might know this one. The reason why I haven’t posted this track yet is because I really didn’t like it, but as I read some other blogs and saw the track blowing up. I figured I had to post it!
I first discovered Roksonix when they won the Flux Pavilion – Voscillate Remix competition and now they are the newest signing to Circus Records! Give it a listen and enjoy!
Time for another Skrillex post, and this time it’s something a little different than usual. First of all, it’s a collaboration between 12th Planet and Skrillex. Second of all, Skrillex is singing in this track! A skill he doesn’t use that much, but in my opinion one he should definitely use more! The track is pretty banging and you got to love Skrillex’s vocals! Only one thing left to do, turn up the volume on this one!
Some call it drum & bass, others call it dubstep and a few even claim Doctor P has created a completely new genre! I’m talking about Doctor P’s new remix of Plan B’s Love Goes Down. This track destroys the dance floor and make you wanna go completely bonkers! It is definitely a new banger from the Circus Records guys, which Doctor P and Flux Pavilion founded.
If you haven’t heard about the Circus Records guys or Flux Pavilion and Doctor P, I highly recommend that you get your hands on some of their stuff! They are seriously killing the whole dubstep scene at the moment!
Statelapse is two guys from Huddersfield in UK and they’re big in the game right now! According to them, they’re upcoming and definitely going to the top! Just take a listen to this track! I love the way it builds up with spooky sounds in the background, then the vocals that sounds like a little baby swearing, “Shut The Fuck Up!” at his mom and the drop just makes you wanna headbang to the rhythm!
So I guess all of you guys know what the hell Looney Tunes is? Yeah I’m talking about Bugs Bunny and his friends! Well there’s quite a lot artist which have used the Looney Tunes as vocals and some of those tunes are pretty big! Out of all the tracks I have heard, I really liked these 2 tracks by Jogo and Reika.
This track is by Jogo (newly signed to Chronos Records). I love the way Jogo sampled Bugs Bunny and the drop in this tune is huge! The intro is the only thing that annoys me in this track, but it sounds great in a mix!
This track is big! The intro goes quiet and the drop starts with a slow bass and just keep building!
